Unlike traditional salons, we never use kennels - your pet is groomed from start to finish in a calm, stress-free environment. Plus, we are a true family business: when your pet is with us, they’re treated as part of our family, with 24/7 care and premium international cosmetics.

With two private, quiet grooming rooms, we ensure your pet isn’t stressed by other dogs or loud distractions. We don’t just groom - we build trust. Absolutely. We specialize in “first-timer” experiences for puppies to help them grow up loving the groomer, and we provide a gentle, slow-paced approach for our senior friends who need extra patience. At Petoria, we prioritize your pet’s well-being over the speed of the appointment.

Grooming time depends on your dog’s size, coat condition, and temperament. Most appointments take between 1.5–3 hours. We’ll give you a precise pick-up estimate when you drop them off.

We use a curated selection of world-class, professional pet cosmetics - including Special One, BEAU, Fraser Essentials, and Pet Silk. All of our products are pH-balanced, professional-grade, and tailored to specific coat types. For pets with sensitive skin or allergies, we also offer specialized hypoallergenic lines.

Yes - beyond our standard grooms, we offer premium “Boutique” add-ons like Mineral Clay Masks, professional deshedding, and precision nail filing. Please note: while we don’t offer teeth brushing as a standalone, we can recommend local specialists for professional dental care. Add-ons can be selected during booking or at drop-off.

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the spot to another furry friend on our waiting list. Frequent last-minute cancellations or no-shows may require a non-refundable deposit for future bookings.

We keep our guest list strictly limited to a small number of pets at any given time. This boutique, small-group approach ensures a calm, zero-stress environment, spacious accommodation, and plenty of personal love and attention for every guest.

It’s a mandatory 30–45 minute solo session where you drop off your pet so we can bond with them and see how they settle into our home before a long-term stay. This helps us ensure they feel safe and happy in our environment.

Our campers follow a home-style routine: morning walks, playtime in our secure backyard, nap times on the sofa, relaxing evening walks, and lots of cozy snuggles. We mirror your pet’s home schedule as closely as possible to minimize anxiety.

To avoid tummy upsets, we require owners to provide their pet’s regular food for the entire stay. Please bring it in a sealed container with clear feeding instructions.

Absolutely - in fact, we encourage it. Having a bed or blanket that smells like home helps your pet settle in much faster.

Acceptance depends on our current schedule and guest mix. We can often accommodate intact pets, provided they’re well-behaved in a home environment and compatible with our scheduled stays. Please mention this in your Booking Application so we can check availability for your dates.

Safety is our number one priority. In the unlikely event of an emergency, we will immediately contact you and your designated emergency contact, and take your pet to your preferred veterinarian or the nearest 24-hour emergency clinic in Calgary. All medical and veterinary expenses incurred are the responsibility of the owner.

We welcome all breeds. However, because Pet Camp is a home-based, cage-free environment, we can only accept pets that are non-aggressive toward humans. This is why our Meet & Greet session is mandatory.
